  • 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 packet instant yeast (2 ¼ tsp)
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup warm milk (110°F)
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup strawberry jam or preserves
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, finely chopped
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 34 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. Add warm milk, melted butter, and egg, then mix until a dough forms.
  2. Knead on a floured surface for about 8–10 minutes or use a dough hook for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place in a greased bowl to rise for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  3. Roll out the dough into a rectangle (12×15 inches), spread with strawberry jam, and sprinkle chopped strawberries over it. Roll tightly from one long side into a log shape and slice into 12 rolls.
  4. Arrange rolls in a greased 9×13-inch baking pan. Let rise again for another 30–40 minutes.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake rolls for about 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
  6. While baking, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract for the glaze. Drizzle over warm rolls once baked.
